The Cardona Family

Don Rogelio is a widower, his wife passed out recently and now, he is in charge of taking care of their kids on his own. When we met them they only had an adobe room that they used for sleeping. They received a hybrid home next to the adobe room. Our partnership with habitat involved receiving help from the family. In this case they were involved with the construction by preparing the base land and doing some construction. Aside from the hybrid home, they received a ventilated pit latrine and a smokeless stove.
